For Synergy Autism Center, The Web Detective provided strategic enhancements to the website by implementing comprehensive data compliance measures and policy documentation that align with evolving U.S. privacy laws. This included drafting and integrating a customized Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Cookie Consent Banner, tailored to meet compliance standards for key regulations like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), and Colorado Privacy Act (CPA).

These laws require opt-in consent for the collection of personal data, particularly for sensitive categories like health-related information. To address this, The Web Detective ensured the site now features clear opt-in mechanisms and user-friendly disclosures, empowering visitors to understand and control how their information is collected and used.

Additionally, The Web Detective included:

  • 🔍 A cookie management tool allowing users to accept or reject non-essential cookies
  • 🔍 Easily accessible data rights information (e.g., the right to access, delete, or opt-out of data sharing)
  • 🔍 Policy language that reflects transparency and trust, especially important for a site serving families and individuals with autism

These updates not only protect Synergy Autism Center from potential legal risk but also elevate the organization’s professional reputation by demonstrating a proactive approach to user privacy and compliance.

When Kris Flores came to me, she had been left in a tough spot by a previous developer who retained full ownership and control of her website. Over time, the site became non-functional, outdated, and no longer reflected her brand, vision, or professionalism. Like many business owners, Kris didn’t initially realize that she didn’t have true access or ownership of the one digital asset every business should fully control — their website.

Today, with the support of The Web Detective, Kris Flores not only owns her website but has full access and the ability to make updates as needed. The Web Detective rebuilt the site from the ground up, creating a clean, engaging, and easy-to-navigate platform that highlights her Texas-based insurance services in a clear and accessible way.

Beyond the design, The Web Detective also implemented critical data privacy and compliance features to align with U.S. privacy laws such as CCPA, VCDPA, and CPA. This included:

  • 🔍 A customized Privacy Policy and Terms and conditions pages
  • 🔍 A cookie consent banner with opt-in controls for states like California and Virginia
  • 🔍 Transparent explanations of user data rights (access, delete, opt-out options)
  • 🔍 Easy-to-understand language and consent options to foster user trust and legal readiness

These updates ensure that the site is not only legally protected, but also trusted by clients — reflecting the same transparency and care that Kris brings to her insurance business.

When The Tally Books came to The Web Detective, the client was stuck in an expensive bundled website package that overpromised and underdelivered. She had been charged for unnecessary add-ons and upsold on features that were either poorly implemented or completely missing — including a critical failure: the SSL certificate was not installed correctly, which caused her website to be flagged as unsafe and inaccessible to visitors.

Recognizing the risks and costs, The Web Detective recommended breaking free from the bundle and transitioning to a more reliable, cost-effective hosting platform. This not only restored full access and security but also consolidated her services into a single monthly plan — saving her money while delivering a higher standard of service.

Once the foundation was secure, The Web Detective added essential upgrades to bring her site up to speed, including:

  • 🔍 A properly installed and configured SSL certificate for full browser security
  • 🔍 A tailored Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Accessibility Statement
  • 🔍 Compliance with ADA, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws
  • 🔍 A cookie consent banner and opt-in controls for better user trust and legal coverage

These changes ensure that The Tally Books now has a secure, accessible, and legally compliant online presence — one that truly represents the brand’s mission and professionalism.

With full ownership, better hosting, and the right support, this client can now move forward with confidence, knowing that her digital space is protected, accessible, and truly hers.

When The Lint Surgeon reached out to The Web Detective, their old website had reached a critical point: built on an unstable foundation of outdated plugins and never properly maintained, the site had essentially imploded, making it unusable. What the business needed was a sleek, modern solution — and fast.

The Web Detective stepped in to build a clean, mobile-optimized digital business site designed for long-term stability and minimal upkeep. The new site was built with little to no plugins, making it far more robust, secure, and low maintenance than the previous setup.

Key upgrades included:

  • 🔍 A fresh, modern design that preserved the core content from the original site
  • 🔍 A fully responsive layout with intuitive navigation, positioned at the bottom of mobile screens for ease of use
  • 🔍 Integration of live Google reviews and aggregated client feedback in one easy-to-browse location
  • 🔍 A streamlined, automated appointment booking form to improve client flow and reduce admin time
  • 🔍 Frequent calls to action to boost conversions and make scheduling services effortless

As part of the visual refresh, The Web Detective also redesigned the logo. The updated version featured improved resolution, a transparent background, and a clever visual tweak — filling in the “O” to resemble a clogged air duct, tying perfectly into the brand’s service offering.

This project was a collaborative effort with Dreamsomedia and Graphic Gal Caro, blending creative design with technical resilience. The result? A modern website that’s fast, functional, and future-proof — built to last without the burden of plugin overload.

The client needed to create a new website with a clean, modern look while preserving as much detail and content from their old site as possible. Essential features included incorporating collected Google reviews, an automated client form for booking service appointments, and clear, easy-to-use calls to action for scheduling.

The Web Detective’s solution was to develop a digital business page that didn’t rely on plugins, which had been the primary cause of the previous site’s crash. We provided a superior solution that integrated live feeds from Google reviews and other platforms where the company had received feedback, allowing client reviews to be aggregated in one location.

Additionally, we updated the logo, as the original was low resolution and lacked a transparent background. To enhance the design, we filled in the letter “O” to create the impression of a clogged pipe in the air duct. Recognizing that most visitors use mobile phones, we positioned the navigation menu at the bottom of the pages and kept each page concise, improving the user experience and incorporating numerous calls to action.

The client was receiving error messages from their web server and Google, and their Google reviews were not updating or functioning properly. This issue stemmed from the previous web agency, and the client had always suspected that they had not truly repaired or resolved the problem. Unfortunately, the entire site went offline, which immediately impacted the business’s ability to receive clients and orders, as the site included a work order form used by both new and existing clients.

The Web Detective to the rescue! Was there anything that could be done to revive the website?

Upon investigation, the first step was to create an online landing page and form so clients could still find an online presence and book appointments for services. A deeper investigation was needed to locate any backup files and determine if the website could be repaired or restored. In the worst-case scenario, this situation might require a miracle.

💼 Maria Rowley – J. Hilburn

Tailored Style Meets Streamlined Simplicity

The client came to The Web Detective with a goal: streamline her digital presence, reduce monthly costs, and regain full control of her content. Her previous website was created using a rigid templated builder that offered limited customization and couldn’t be transferred to a new provider.

The Web Detective’s solution: Rebuild smarter, not harder.

We moved her away from the restrictive platform and consolidated her domain, email, and hosting into a single, cost-effective provider. While the previous site couldn’t be migrated due to its proprietary structure, this turned out to be an opportunity—not a setback.

📱 What we delivered:

  • 🔍 A personalized digital landing page that reflects Maria’s clean, classic brand style
  • 🔍 Centralized links to all her social media profiles and contact options
  • 🔍 A sleek, modern design optimized for mobile viewing and digital networking
  • 🔍 Full ownership and access to her site’s content and backend
  • 💰 Over $1,000 in annual savings

Maria now has a professional online hub that works as hard as she does—simple, elegant, and fully in her control.

The client had a website created using a templated website builder. She wanted to consolidate some of her accounts, reduce her monthly costs, and maintain access to her site’s content. The client aimed to create a clean, simple website that could serve as a digital contact page.

The Web Detective’s solution was to move the site away from the current hosting provider and consolidate her domain name and email services onto a single hosting platform. Unfortunately, because the site was built with a templated website builder, it was not transferable. However, this ultimately proved to be the best option for creating a business digital page that allowed for the personalization the client desired, providing a clean and modern feel. The new site also offers connections to all her social media and contact links.

🪑 Your Posture Tutor – Ergonomics and You

Creating Comfort, One Click at a Time

The mission: Build an inclusive, accessible online experience that mirrors the client’s passion for workplace wellness and supports their ongoing commitment to DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). With a focus on ergonomics, the goal was to prevent discomfort and long-term injury—while also ensuring that those with disabilities could navigate the website with ease.

The Web Detective’s solution: Make accessibility the foundation of the redesign.

We implemented a fully accessible menu navigation system that improves readability, navigation, and interaction for all users, including those using assistive technologies. The result is a site that reflects the client’s values, making everyone feel seen, supported, and comfortable.

🔍 Key enhancements:

  • ✅ Installed an accessibility tool to support users with visual, cognitive, and motor-related needs
  • 🖼️ Added alt text across all images for screen reader support
  • ⚙️ Upgraded select features to meet WCAG 2.2 compliance standards

This upgrade wasn’t just a fix—it was a forward-thinking solution that aligned with both usability best practices and the values behind the brand. Now the site reflects what the business is truly about: comfort, support, and inclusivity.

The client was committed to ensuring that everyone in the workplace could work comfortably. There is a strong desire to foster inclusivity and promote DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) within the work environment. Focusing on ergonomics aims to prevent pain and long-term damage to the body.

The client wanted to provide individuals with disabilities or those experiencing discomfort a way to easily navigate and find information on their site.

The Web Detective’s solution was to implement an accessible menu navigation option, which enhances the user experience by making it easier for everyone to access and read information compared to the original format.

🕸️ Z World Webs – Let’s Develop a Website Z World is Waiting For!

Z World Webs knew it was time to bring their accessibility standards up to code — literally. After using several free plugins to meet compliance needs, they began receiving negative feedback due to outdated and ineffective accessibility tools. Most of those plugins only met WCAG 2.0 (from 2008), falling short of today’s standards, leaving users with disabilities — especially those using screen readers — unable to interact with the site effectively.

That’s when they called in The Web Detective.

We explained the risks of relying on outdated tools and demonstrated how true compliance under the ADA and WCAG 2.2 (the current standard) should look and function. Our job: modernize accessibility, streamline usability, and strengthen trust for both users and search engines.

The Web Detective’s upgrades included:

  • 🛠️ Website accessibility integration with proper WCAG 2.2 AA-level support — not a patch, but a real solution
  • ✅ Legal compliance with evolving state and federal ADA regulations, reducing the risk of complaints or legal demands
  • 💻 Digital landing page with a clear call to action for optimal client conversion
  • 📲 Branded QR codes and Zoom backgrounds for professional outreach and networking
  • ✉️ DMARC email configuration to protect their communications and elevate sender trust

With these improvements, Z World Webs continues to deliver a compliant, accessible, and professional digital experience — one that matches its own mission of developing exceptional custom websites for others Z World is waiting for.

We provided an alternative accessibility solution that covered WCAG 2.1 to AA level of the ADA law, as previous plugins and free services brought unwanted attention because they were not adhering to the current level and requirements. Most free versions operate at WCAG 2.0 which was created in 2008, whereas today we are using version 2.2.

💼 Perfectly Imperfect Families – Email Compliance Upgrade

🔗 perfectlyimperfectfamilies.com

Even the best-crafted emails mean nothing if they don’t reach the inbox.

Following our work in Case File #WD231212, where we implemented privacy policies and compliance solutions for Perfectly Imperfect Families, the client returned with a new challenge—email deliverability issues and a noticeable spike in email volume. With Gmail and Yahoo enforcing new rules as of February 2024, emails now require authentication to avoid being flagged or blocked altogether.

📧 The Web Detective’s Solution: DMARC Setup for Peace of Mind

We configured DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) to validate the client’s email traffic and meet the latest email security standards. This ensures emails are recognized as legitimate and land in the inbox—not the spam folder.

💡 Why it matters:

Many business owners don’t realize their emails aren’t being delivered at all. With stricter authentication requirements from major providers like Gmail and Yahoo, a lack of compliance could mean lost leads, blocked communications, or even getting blacklisted.

🛠 Project Highlights:

  • ✅ DMARC, SPF & DKIM email authentication setup
  • 📬 Improved inbox placement and sender reputation
  • 🔒 Compliance with 2024 Gmail/Yahoo requirements
  • 🧩 Integrated with existing hosting and domain setup

📌 Reminder: If your emails aren’t authenticated, they might never make it to your clients—even if you’re not sending spam. DMARC protects your brand, boosts deliverability, and ensures trust.

The client was experiencing issues with email delivery and inquired about the high volume of emails being received. Starting in February 2024, Gmail and Yahoo announced that all emails passing through their servers must be validated and secured. This means that emails require validation before they can be delivered.

This requirement is crucial to prevent being classified as spam, which could lead to being blacklisted or blocked from sending emails, regardless of the quantity or type of emails sent.

The Web Detective solution was to set up DMARC validation. As a result, the client is now recognized as a safe email sender and will not be blocked or have their emails marked as spam.

It is essential for emails to arrive in the inbox rather than the spam folder, or worse, not be delivered at all. Many people are unaware that their emails are not reaching their intended recipients.

After the successful launch of her new website in collaboration with Z World Webs, Trips with Claudia was ready to go a step further. Claudia wanted to bring all of her offerings together in one seamless, easy-to-share space — creating a centralized digital landing page that would help grow her travel business and establish her online identity.

That’s when The Web Detective returned to the case.

We developed a clean, mobile-optimized digital page that acts as a hub for Claudia’s brand — helping her unify her services, expand her reach, and offer a polished experience to both new and returning clients. By consolidating scattered platforms and visual branding into one cohesive space, Claudia is now set up to connect with travelers in a memorable and professional way.

The Web Detective provided a range of services, including the creation, design, and implementation of the new digital assets.

🧩 Perfectly Imperfect Families – Privacy-First Parenting Resources

When a third-party vendor required Perfectly Imperfect Families to include Terms & Conditions and a Privacy Policy, it opened the door to a deeper investigation. Despite being licensed in all 50 states, the client was unaware that 15 of those states had recently enacted strict data privacy laws — many of which come with heavy fines for non-compliance.

That’s when The Web Detective stepped in.

🔍 After conducting a full digital audit, The Web Detective provided a future-proof compliance solution tailored to both existing and emerging data regulations — not only covering the current 15 states with active laws but also automatically updating the site as new laws roll out across the country.

🔍 Solutions included:

  • 📜 Custom Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies tailored to multi-state regulations
  • 🔄 Auto-updating compliance system, eliminating the need for repeated legal rewrites
  • 🍪 Cookie policy and consent banner to meet federal and state opt-in/opt-out standards
  • 🧘 Peace of mind for the client, who can now focus on helping families without worrying about compliance traps

Perfectly Imperfect Families is now set up with a robust legal foundation that evolves alongside the ever-changing landscape of U.S. data privacy law — no stress, no surprises, and no lawyer bills with every new update.

The client was required to include terms and conditions along with a privacy statement on their website, as mandated by a third-party vendor. Although the client is licensed to operate in all 50 states in the USA, he was unaware that 15 of the states where he was doing business had recently enacted data privacy laws and regulations.

The Web Detective’s solution was to provide him with adequate coverage not only for those states already enforcing these laws but also to update his site as new laws were introduced in the coming months and years. We implemented an automated system, ensuring that the client would never need to request a revised policy or cookie update each time a new law was passed.

This provided the client with peace of mind, knowing he was always compliant, and saved him the hassle of having to hire a lawyer to rewrite his policies repeatedly.

🛡️ Basey Insurance – Tailoring Healthcare Solutions

🔗 basey-insurance.com

The challenge: Customers were visiting the site but often left confused, unsure where to find information, or hesitant to reach out without having their basic questions answered. The client needed a user-friendly solution that simplified how visitors engage with the content — without overwhelming them with more pages or complex navigation.

Enter The Web Detective.

🔍 Our recommendation was to install a smart chat assistant powered by ChatGPT, trained specifically on the content and services offered by Basey Insurance. This AI assistant acts as a digital guide, helping visitors ask questions, find answers, and understand services — all before needing to speak to a human or get lost in a maze of web pages.

💡 What makes this tool even more powerful is its flexibility:

The client can easily update the assistant’s knowledge base with new offerings, FAQ-style info, and announcements without changing the site layout or adding blog posts.

Solutions delivered:

  • 💬 Custom ChatGPT Assistant trained on Basey Insurance content
  • 🔄 Easily updatable backend — no need for extra pages or complicated CMS work
  • 📊 Increased time on site and better user interaction
  • 🤝 Encourages warm leads by building trust before personal contact is made

With this upgrade, Basey Insurance clients now enjoy a smoother, smarter browsing experience, and the business benefits from a digital solution that grows with them.

The client requested a solution to help their customers easily access information from the website. Often, visitors were unsure where to find specific information or had general questions they wanted answered before reaching out to the client.

The Web Detective solution involved creating a chat assistant powered by ChatGPT, allowing users to interact with the site and ask questions about Basey Insurance. This feature encourages visitors to spend more time on the client’s site while seeking the information they need before speaking to a real person or an automated bot that typically provides limited responses.

One notable advantage of our solution is that the client can update the chat data with new information without the need to add additional pages or blogs to the site. We understand that visitors often prefer quick answers rather than sifting through extensive content.

🌹 Melissa Rose – Realtor for DFW

🌐 melissarose.house

In the world of real estate, personal branding often carries more weight than the agency name itself. Melissa Rose recognized the need to separate her online identity from a single brokerage, and that’s where The Web Detective stepped in.

The client needed a sleek, independent landing page — not corporate, not generic — but one that would allow her to stand out and remain consistent no matter which agency she aligned with in the future. This strategic move gave her a permanent online footprint under her own name, making her more discoverable, flexible, and professional.

The Web Detective’s digital solution included:

  • 🏠 Personal digital landing page with listings, bio, and clear calls to action
  • 📥 Downloadable contact card, perfect for quick saves on mobile
  • 🧮 Built-in mortgage calculator that allows users to calculate monthly costs and save results while browsing
  • 📲 QR codes and branded Zoom backgrounds for networking and virtual meetings
  • ✍️ HTML email signature to keep her brand consistent across communication channels
  • Custom automated forms to streamline client inquiries
  • 🌐 Domain and email setup, ensuring ownership and independence
  • 📝 Content creation, tailored to her unique style and audience

Having a personal site offers freedom, portability, and control — something crucial for real estate professionals, but also incredibly valuable in other industries where the individual brand carries the most weight.

🔍 Who else can benefit from a personal landing page like this?

  • 🔍 Attorneys and legal consultants
  • 🔍 Therapists and private practice professionals
  • 🔍 Coaches, mentors, and consultants
  • 🔍 Freelancers and creatives (designers, writers, artists)
  • 🔍 Public speakers, authors, and influencers
  • 🔍 Salon owners or independent stylists
  • 🔍 Medical and wellness professionals in private practice

In any career where relationships outlast company ties, a personal site keeps your audience with you — no matter where your professional journey leads.

The client needed a non-corporate online page that was independent of any specific company. In the real estate sector, it’s common for realtors to be recognized more by their name than by the company they work for, and often their online presence is tied to a single company, which may not always be accessible from other firms.

The Web Detective recommended creating a personal digital page featuring a bio and links to her listings. Additionally, there was an option to provide a downloadable contact card for potential clients and a feature that allowed users to calculate their mortgage interest while browsing house prices, with the ability to save that information to their phones. This added functionality helps users estimate their monthly costs while searching for multiple properties simultaneously.

Case File #SS231017

Fiscus Capital Funding came to The Web Detective after being locked into an expensive agency contract that offered high monthly fees with very little service or support. The business had no access to its own website, domain, or hosting — with all control held tightly by the previous agency. This meant even small updates required waiting on someone else’s availability.

The Web Detective quickly took action to rescue the website, preserving its design and content while moving it to a new, independent hosting platform. Not only did this transition give the business full ownership and control, but it also resulted in cost savings of over $3,500.

Key improvements included:

  • 🔍 A clean transfer and secure rebuild of the website on new hosting platform
  • 🔍 Full domain and dashboard access returned to the client
  • 🔍 Seamless email integration and ongoing website maintenance support
  • 🔍 Marketing strategy enhancements to help increase visibility and growth in the financial services space

With this transformation, Fiscus Capital Funding now owns its digital presence outright — with the flexibility to grow, update, and manage its site on their own terms.

This project was completed in partnership with Z World Webs, combining forces to deliver a smart, scalable solution with long-term benefits.

The client had no control or access to their site; the previous agency maintained full control, preventing the client from making changes or logging into their domain unless someone from the agency was available.

The web detective recommended moving the site to a new hosting domain and stabilizing it to operate independently, resulting in cost savings of over $3,500. The client is now able to modify content and update the site themselves.

With firsthand experience navigating the digital world using screen readers, the client was determined to make their website fully accessible to individuals with visual impairments and blindness. They understood the frustrations caused by poorly designed sites and wanted to ensure theirs did not become another barrier to access. In addition to improving accessibility, the client sought tools to enhance brand visibility — especially when networking virtually without a traditional business card.

The Web Detective was brought in to investigate and implement the right digital solutions.

Working closely with the client, The Web Detective focused on accessibility, branding, and functionality, delivering upgrades that not only improved the website’s usability but also enhanced its marketing potential.

Solutions included:

  • Accessibility tools installed and configured for compliance with WCAG 2.2 standards, making the site more usable for individuals with various disabilities
  • 🔧 Website maintenance and repair, including content adjustments and backend improvements to stabilize performance
  • 🎯 Custom QR codes tied directly to services, ideal for printed materials, social media, and networking
  • 🎥 Branded Zoom backgrounds and marketing graphics to boost brand recognition during virtual meetings and events

With these improvements, Poirier Healthy Living now delivers a more inclusive and professional experience — both online and off. Whether clients are browsing the site or connecting in a Zoom call, their brand is now accessible, polished, and ready to grow.

The client wanted to ensure that their website was accessible to individuals with visual impairments and blindness. They have firsthand experience with how many sites are inaccessible to those with visual impairments, often forcing them to rely on screen readers for navigation. The client also aimed to enhance brand recognition and improve traffic flow by using QR codes and Zoom backgrounds to inform potential clients about their products and services, particularly when networking online without a business card.

The client had a website that was not designed with accessibility for people with disabilities in mind, lacking visual appeal and a user-friendly experience. While it included some features for screen readers, the goal was to ensure inclusivity and address Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles. Therefore, the site needed to be designed and built to accommodate individuals with a variety of disabilities.

The Web Detective’s solution was to identify a platform that would be easy for both the owners and staff to use, whether or not they were utilizing screen readers. The design needed to be both attractive and straightforward.

🌐 She Shed Home Décor – eCommerce with Elegance & Access for All

As the proud operator of multiple online storefronts, the client behind She Shed Home Décor understood that true style should be accessible to everyone — and that includes people with disabilities who regularly shop online. With over $460 billion in spending power from the disability community, building an inclusive eCommerce experience is no longer optional — it’s essential.

But beyond the ethical obligation, there’s also the practical one: avoiding demand letters and lawsuits tied to ADA non-compliance. That’s when The Web Detective was called in to investigate and implement the right solution.

The Web Detective’s accessibility upgrades included:

  • 🧩 Installation of a powerful accessibility tool, allowing users to customize the site’s font, spacing, contrast, cursor size, and more — making it easier for people with visual, cognitive, or motor challenges to navigate and shop
  • Compliance with evolving federal and state regulations, helping the client future-proof her business
  • 📈 Business-forward strategy, combining ethical design with sales-savvy thinking — because accessibility helps all users, not just those with diagnosed disabilities

From curb appeal to click-throughs, She Shed Home Décor is now more inclusive, legally protected, and ready to welcome every customer with ease.

The client operates online stores and wanted to ensure that all visitors, including those with disabilities, could access the websites. She recognized that many individuals with disabilities shop online, and by adding accessibility features, she aimed to improve website traffic and increase sales. Additionally, these enhancements would protect her business from demand letters and lawsuits related to website accessibility compliance. Given that the disability community spends over $460 billion online, creating an inclusive website is essential.

The Web Detective recommended adding an accessibility tool to the site, allowing users to customize the style and readability to suit their needs. This tool can also benefit users without disabilities.

Synergy Autism Center partnered with The Web Detective for their first major website accessibility upgrade — a project focused on making their site truly inclusive for the very community they serve. As an organization supporting individuals with autism, their digital presence needed to reflect the same values of equity, clarity, and ease of use.

The Web Detective delivered a tailored accessibility solution that not only improved the user experience but also aligned the site with legal accessibility standards:

  • 🔍 Installed a customizable accessibility tool that allows visitors to adjust fonts, contrast, spacing, and more — supporting a wide range of neurodiverse and cognitive needs
  • 🔍 Added alt text to images for screen reader support and better content clarity
  • 🔍 Enhanced visual and structural elements to support WCAG 2.2 compliance

This first phase of work helped the client proactively avoid potential ADA-related legal risks, such as demand letters or lawsuits. Additionally, The Web Detective educated the client on IRS tax credits available for accessibility-related improvements — a valuable incentive they weren’t aware of before.

With these updates, Synergy Autism Center now offers a more welcoming and supportive online environment that reflects the care and accessibility found in their in-person services.

The client wanted to ensure that their website was accessible to everyone, particularly individuals with autism, allowing them to navigate the site easily and equitably. Since they serve people with autism, it was essential to provide tools that facilitate equal access.

The Web Detective solution was to install an accessibility tool that enables visitors to navigate the site effortlessly. This approach not only helped avoid demand letters and lawsuits, as websites in the USA are required to be accessible, but the client was also unaware that she qualified for IRS tax credits.

The client specializes in helping people with disabilities travel and wanted to ensure that their website is accessible to everyone. Their goal is to connect users with services that accommodate travelers with disabilities. Florida has seen a significant number of demand letters concerning non-accessible websites.

Recently, the DOJ stated that all public, state, and governmental websites must be accessible and compliant within the next few months, in accordance with Section 508.

The Web Detective’s solution was to implement WCAG-compliant features and create an accessibility user menu, allowing each user to adjust the site’s features to meet their individual needs.

The client operates an online shop and website and discovered that one of the most common accessibility lawsuits involves online stores. They reached out to us for assistance in creating a business that is inclusive for everyone.

The Web Detective recommended adding an accessibility menu to the website, which proved to be highly beneficial, as the client was unaware that even users without disabilities could enhance their experience by customizing the site.

One feature of the menu is that each option is designed to align with the brand’s colors and overall aesthetics. However, recognizing that color contrast may not work for all users, we also provide compliant color options that fit within the brand’s color scheme.

The client needed a clear call to action to make it easier for people to schedule personal measurements or connect with her social media channels while networking online.

The Web Detective’s solution was to create a personal digital page accessible through a branded QR code and a Zoom background for online meetings.
